Making a Difference, One Cheese at a Time

Cheese Is Love was born out of our deep commitment to our community. Thousands of people in Southern Oregon lost their homes and livelihoods in the Almeda Fire last fall, and thousands more are suffering from the prolonged economic impacts of the pandemic. As a result, our local friends and neighbors are going hungry. We are here to help – and for months, Rogue Creamery has donated thousands of pounds of cheese to non-profits and food banks. But as a small, artisan cheese company, we needed a way to keep up with demand. So that’s when we created Cheese is Love™, an extra-aged cheddar that gives you the chance to give back with us.

For every block of Cheese Is Love you purchase, we’ll give the same amount to those in need.

We donate cheese every two weeks to local nonprofits Rogue Food Unites and ACCESS, who then distribute it to local pantries and pickup points.  All of our Cheese Is Love proceeds will go towards expanding the reach and impact of these donations.

By choosing Cheese Is Love, you’re making a difference in the lives of countless families in our community!

We’re grateful for the support of Rogue Creamery President David Gremmels, and our friends at Airstream Adventures for their generous seed donations to kickstart this campaign. Their love makes this project possible.

Thank you to regional businesses Taylor Made Labels and West Coast Paper for donating a portion of the packaging materials we require to distribute cheese to those in need in our community!
