Shipping Made Cheese

When we ship our cheese, our top priority is to ensure that it makes it to you in excellent condition – and in as environmentally-friendly a way as possible. That’s why we’ve partnered with PNW-based packaging provider WCP to create a shipping solution that keeps both our cheese AND our planet happy!

In addition to the recyclable exterior cardboard box and reusable gel packs inside, we’ve introduced an innovative box insulation called InfinityCore Thermal Liner to keep our cheese cold in transit. It is made of recycled materials and is curbside recyclable in most municipalities. We have run numerous temperature tests since introducing the InfinityCore Liner, and have found that it performs better in its primary function than do most non-recyclable alternatives. Though we cannot control the precise conditions that each box faces when it is shipped, we’ve found that, in the vast majority of cases, our cheese stays in the “safety zone” temperature range for approximately 3 days in transit. This means that even if your box is shipped “2 Day” but is then delayed an additional day (all too common, unfortunately!), the cheese inside will not be compromised in most circumstances.

Still concerned about unseasonably hot temperatures or a delay by your local carrier? We recommend choosing overnight shipping at checkout so that you can rest assured that our award-winning cheese will arrive in perfect condition on your doorstep.

Shipping Policy

 

All orders are processed Monday – Thursday (excluding weekends and holidays) and will ship on the date you selected during checkout. When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please plan accordingly to receive your package, The Rogue Creamery does not accept liability for any on-time packages that were forgotten or not immediately refrigerated after receiving.

Our carriers make every effort to deliver packages on time – but due to high volumes, they cannot guarantee packages will arrive within 1 or 2 days as requested. We have taken every step possible to ensure that the contents of your shipment stay cool for up to 3 days. If your package does arrive late, please accept the package and check the contents. If the cheese is warm to the touch, please discard the cheeses and contact us immediately at info@roguecreamery.com for a replacement.

Please note: If you refuse a late delivery package, we will not be able to issue you a refund or replacement.

 

Domestic Shipping Rates

 Flat Rate Shipping: We understand that the cost of shipping can be challenge for many people, that is why we offer convenient flat rate 2-Day and Overnight express shipping for all orders in the United States including Hawaii and Alaska. Offering a flat rate shipping option also means that you don’t pay for the extra weight of the gel packs, insulation, stuffing, and other materials we use to keep your contents cool and safe during transport.

The following methods are available based on the shipping day you select during checkout:

Monday – Wednesday: 2-Day and Overnight Express Service.
Thursday: Overnight Express Service
Friday: No Shipping

 

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping.

 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available. If you haven’t received your order within 4 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@roguecreamery.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

 

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

Do to the nature of our products, we are not able to receive returns. Any packages attempting to be returned will be refused and returned to the sender. In the event that your order arrives bad or damaged, please email us as soon as possible at info@roguecreamery.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution. Please note: If you refuse a delivery, we will not be able to provide a refund or replacement for your order.
